LABS research
hi we're LABS, founder(s) of nrutseab, non-exclusive creative collective, open to all. we use nut—our agi platform—as a creative hub to push boundaries, test possibilities, and open up futures in music and performance. nut supports production, tests commercial feasibility, safeguards brand/ip, and explores new processes and ways to create and share, with transparent, collaborative, carbon-free work that evolves beyond traditional ownership.
how we research
(1) we use nut, our agi-driven platform, to test the commercial feasibility of ideas, projects and research topics before they scale — from albums, live performances to experimental projects.
(2) LABS functions as both a studio and a playground, giving creators space to experiment across music, film, performance, and other industries while rebuilding frameworks for collaboration from the ground up.
(3) our work spans industries, always prioritizing carbon-free production and sustainable methods.
current focus areas
(1) creative process innovation: using nut to streamline music and performance creation (e.g., analytics for 85% virality accuracy, production tools for 92% fidelity) without replacing artist vision.
(2) performance amplification: blending music (e.g., buttermilk town) with performance art (e.g., choreography, live shows) using nut-generated assets to redefine audience experiences.
(3) immersive storytelling: developing interactive music and film formats to connect with global fans through innovative narratives.
ongoing research surrounding LABS
(1) commercial feasibility testing with nut: every project runs through nut to assess creative fidelity and market potential (e.g., 10% engagement boost) before launch.
(2) carbon-free production: developing sustainable pipelines for music, film, and live experiences.
(3) creative sandbox: an open, non-binding space where members experiment without restrictive contracts.
(4) brand/ip tracking and protection: tools to detect misuse, ensure fair credit, and safeguard creator ip.
active pilots by LABS
(1) pushing the limits of figure skating: labs artists, as skaters, blend buttermilk town music and visuals to push artistry and technique, aiming to break records in one competition season (2026–2030).
(2) alternative film and music experiences: prototyping accessible, interactive ways for audiences to engage with content.
(3) open world-building: documenting shared ip universes (e.g., buttermilk town, labs’ debut album) for collective storytelling.
our ethos
labs research is never about keeping ideas locked away. we believe in open documentation, collaborative testing, and transparency. if a project shows promise, it may grow into a nrutseab release. if not, it still leaves behind knowledge, tools, and inspiration for others to build on.
